Alma Heritage Science

The expertise of Alma HeritageScience IRT covers a variety of areas: from history and cultural heritage ethics to environment; from territorial aspects to structural issues; from constituents materials to documentation and cataloguing (ICT based); from restoration materials to management.

Alma Food

Alma Food IRT co-ordinates the expertise according to a "fork-to-farm" approach, covering all topics relevant to the food chain. Alma Food has been structured on the pillars of the European Technological Platform "Food for Life" and the single research groups are clustered in research areas, identified as follows.

Social Economy and Civil Society

The corporate social responsibility research area involves different dimensions of analysis. It mainly explores how it can be implemented by different economic enterprises, such as for profit, not for profit, private and public ones.

Alma Sequencing

The University of Bologna hosts a number of research groups working in the field of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) of the human, animal, plant and microbial genome.

Alma Low Carbon

Alma Low Carbon Integrated Research Team is a multi-disciplinary group working in the field of energy, environmental sustainability and the transition towards a “low carbon” society.
