6th International Conference on the Application of Raman Spectroscopy in Art and Archaeology

The conference is a traditional international forum where experts in Raman applications in cultural heritage exchange information and discuss together on the latest trends and state-of-the -art experiences. 

 
The scientific committee welcomes all contributions on the application of Raman spectroscopy in art-history, archaeology, palaeontology, conservation and restoration, museology, archaeometry, etc.
A non-limitative list of topics includes:
- Material characterization and degradation processes (pigments, inks, stones, gems, glasses, ceramics,...)
- Contaminations affecting cultural heritage (decay, corrosion, ….)
- Raman spectroscopy in palaeontology and palaeoenvironment
- New Raman instrumentation and applications (combined with other techniques, imaging and mapping, etc.)
- Chemometrics in Raman spectroscopy
- Raman spectroscopy of biological and organic materials (resins, fibers,…)
- Forensic applications in art and archaeology
- Industrial archaeology
- Other
